Assessment of Teaching - Midsemester Feedback (MSEEQ)

Starting in Fall 2024, all students taking full-term (15 week) courses will receive a midsemester feedback survey. The MSEEQ will be available during weeks 6 and 7. MSEEQ results will be available only to the instructor.

Talking to students about midsemester feedback before and after it is collected helps students understand how important their feedback is to you, which can increase response rates.

Analyzing and Debriefing Students’ Open-ended Feedback offers some suggestions for debriefing the student feedback that you receive. Best done in a timely manner, this is a very important part of the mid-semester feedback process, making students feel heard and that their input is valued.

If you would like to discuss your midsemester student feedback with a SITE faculty consultant, please reach out to any consultants directly or send an email to: SITE@psu.edu.
